I have literally seen 100s of web directories with similar look and feel; they got me bored, and the only reason I visit them is to submit my sites or just have a lookie.

GreenBookPages.com sports unique, cool-looking, greenish design – great branding!

2. Offer more features than just directory listing

There are some reasons that GreenBookPages.com will attract repeat visitors: The blog, the grow guide, hydroponic facts and the ability to contact expert grower. You can also find cool sections other than the directory – classifieds, videos, coupons, giveaways and many more reason for visitors to come back.

3. Well-promoted

Attending events, press releases, video marketing, etc. – GreenBookPages.com mix online and off line promotion methods to get the words out. Announcing your directory on webmaster forums is cool, but not cool enough; you need to use other methods, such as social media, online magazine, videos, etc.
